“Fill my heart with song and let me sing for ever more”

Coral & James - St. Mark’s, Dunham Massey

When Coral, James and their little man Cody asked me to be their Dunham Massey Wedding photographer for their big day I just had to say yes. They were getting married at St Mark’s church in Dunham and then moving on to the lovely Marquee Room at Bowden rugby club. I have photographed here before for Emma and Paul’s wedding last year which is where Coral had first seen my wedding photography. Coral mentioned the lovely Debbie from Perfect Weddings would be styling the Marquee Room which guaranteed that it would look amazing and their day would be something truly special.

I joined Coral and her girls just before lunch time to capture their all important morning preparations. There was lots of laughter, a fair few tears and some surprise gifts for Coral, including a stunning Rolex watch from James which she had no idea about. My sidekick for the day, the talented Sam from Moss Wedding Films, was on second photographer duties. He joined James and his merry men as they got ready together and then headed to the Axe and Cleaver pub for a swift pint and a mingle with some guests.

Wedding time was upon us and all the guests took their seats inside St Mark’s awaiting the entrance of our stunning bride. Her entrance was on time and beautifully elegant. After a lovely ceremony and some confetti throwing we managed to grab a few group shots with key family and wedding party members before some natural wedding portraits of our happy couple.

On to the Marquee room and Debbie’s room decor did not disappoint. Her and Coral’s planning and vision had all come together to create a truly stunning evening reception venue. Speeches and food all completed we were treated to a performance by The Singalong Waiters, two of the best performers I’ve seen all year! Once the final formalities of cake cutting and first dancing we done, the dance floor came alive with a few guests utilising some very interesting props to enhance their moves. The final shot was a quick nighttime portrait in the middle of the rugby pitch, using a couple of flashes to create something a little bit different and unique for Coral and James.
