In the tranquil setting of Thirsk Lodge Barns, Anastasia and Andrew exchanged vows, weaving together the rich tapestry of their love story against the rustic backdrop of Yorkshire. This cross-cultural celebration brought together the warmth of Greek traditions, mood setting live music and the bespoke charm of Andrew's suit and handcrafted shoes, creating a day that resonated with love and authenticity. With a bride and groom first look, full family ceremony procession and a golden sunset (which we almost missed), it really was a day to cherish.
Being a relatively new Yorkshire wedding venue, Thirsk Lodge Barns, with its modern interior design but rustic and traditional exterior was the perfect fit Anastasia & Andrew and allowed for some beautiful relaxed wedding photos. Here is what Anastasia and Andrew said when I asked them why they chose Thirsk Lodge Barn as their wedding venue:
“We wanted a Barn venue and it made sense to be in Yorkshire. We found Thirsk Lodge Barns when it was still under renovation but after meeting with the owners and being taken through their vision (by zoom due to Covid), we were sold! And when renovations/build was complete and we got to see it finally and fell in love with it! It's beautiful with all it's original features, fits with our style of wanting a relaxed and informal fun day, and loved the fact it has multiple rooms so people can move around and change of scenery. Also the huge olive tree in the courtyard is a winner! Links back to Cyprus roots.
